In this workshop, you’ll learn essential components of the Neuromuscular Stimulation Tool developed in England and the Netherlands. This comprehensive training, led by two experts in the field, incorporates dance-based movement, Laban analysis and therapeutic movement approaches that you can put into practice right away.

The S.I.M. training focuses on using creative and dynamic movements as:

  • Social and psychological tools to express and manage emotions
  • Motor tools to improve physical mobility and stability

The S.I.M.-Program will be presented by Andrew Greenwood, Creative Movement Specialist, and Frank Antonissen MSc, researcher and teacher in Human Movement & behaviour

Who is this training for?

This training is developed for healthcare professionals (movement coaches, activity counselors, care partners, physical education experts and physiotherapists) who are committed to people with dementia and/or intellectual disabilities.
